Membership Consultant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Spa Chakra, The Palmer House Hilton, part of the five-star spa and luxury fitness network, Spa Chakra, Inc., is seeking a talented individual to be knowledgeable in all aspects of the club. You will be responsible for achieving monthly revenue goals through creative prospecting and marketing, controlling member retention through calls and referrals, acquiring new corporate accounts, qualifying and touring every prospective club member, and providing exceptional after-sales service by assisting with member questions and concerns. You will accurately prepare membership agreements and supporting paperwork, submit all required reporting statistics on a weekly basis, and establish cooperative marketing with local businesses.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

The successful candidate should be self-motivated and goal-oriented, with exceptional interpersonal skills on the telephone and in person. A team player with a strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with all types of people is preferred. A post-secondary education is required. Two years of experience in the fitness club, service, or hospitality industry is preferred. The ideal candidate must be able to work under pressure and attend a variety of meetings. Shifts are likely to include evenings and weekends. Overtime is expected.

 

COMPENSATION:

Salary plus commissions and bonus.
