RECEPTIONIST
Technical Description
- Executes all spa welcoming, initiation, and departure procedures
- Provides explanatory introductions to the spa experience
- Provides fluid and efficient therapist transferal processes and exit procedures
- Interprets and performs client booking requests and treatment recommendations
- Monitors daily treatment schedules
- Assists clients in identifying product needs
- Updates client data
- Conducts client communication via telephone or e-mail when applicable
- Provides therapeutic continuum advice to achieve re-booking and revenue targets
- Tracks treatment room preparation and check-out procedures to ensure proper arrangement for subsequent appointments
- Accommodates extended client concierge requirements, i.e., transport, food, and beverage requests
- Provides spa tours
- Upholds the highest degree of cleanliness, ensuring the reception area is immaculately presented at all times
Technical Prerequisites
- Previous reception experience, preferably in hospitality reception capacity or in a spa or salon environment
- Previous service and/or product sales experience
- Computer skills with minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
- Cash handling and credit card processing experience
