RECEPTIONIST

 

Technical Description

  • Executes all spa welcoming, initiation, and departure procedures
  • Provides explanatory introductions to the spa experience
  • Provides fluid and efficient therapist transferal processes and exit procedures
  • Interprets and performs client booking requests and treatment recommendations
  • Monitors daily treatment schedules
  • Assists clients in identifying product needs
  • Updates client data
  • Conducts client communication via telephone or e-mail when applicable
  • Provides therapeutic continuum advice to achieve re-booking and revenue targets
  • Tracks treatment room preparation and check-out procedures to ensure proper arrangement for subsequent appointments
  • Accommodates extended client concierge requirements, i.e., transport, food, and beverage requests
  • Provides spa tours
  • Upholds the highest degree of cleanliness, ensuring the reception area is immaculately presented at all times

 

Technical Prerequisites

  • Previous reception experience, preferably in hospitality reception capacity or in a spa or salon environment
  • Previous service and/or product sales experience
  • Computer skills with minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
  • Cash handling and credit card processing experience
