SPA MANAGER
Technical Description
- Manages, supervises, and oversees all spa operations to ensure achievement of sales goals, business objectives, and profitability
- Utilizes effective recruiting techniques to attract and hire qualified frontline practitioners and support managers
- Monitors payroll and expenditures to successfully achieve aggressive spa profit plan
- Maintains cooperation and teamwork within the facility, placing a high emphasis on customer service and satisfaction
- Plans and coordinates spa promotions, events, and loyalty programs to maximize marketplace positioning
- Oversees staff schedules and responsibilities to ensure maximum productivity
- Oversees group bookings and interfaces with hotel partnerships where applicable
- Oversees stock control and inventory control procedures
- Possesses thorough knowledge of product retailing operations
- Enforces safety, maintenance, and hygiene procedures to ensure a clean, safe working environment
- Reviews financial data, prepares management reports, and performs administrative functions accurately and on time
- Administers Human Resource tasks, including hiring and recruitment, performance evaluations, rosters, daily briefings, and time sheets
- Handles and coordinates local media enquiries
- Adheres to corporate guidelines
Technical Prerequisites
- Preferred minimum of 5 years' managerial experienceideally in hotel Rooms Division or health/beauty spa environment
- Preferred 5 years' customer service experience, ideally in a hospitality, retail, health, beauty, or spa environment
- Previous experience managing teams of 10 or more
- Previous training experience highly regarded
- Proficient computer skills
- High school degree or equivalent
